If you're skiing for the first time and you're not very good at stopping, remember that it's better to fall over than to head straight for the gravel patch between the snow and the rental building. Snow skis do not like gravel. #LFMF
If it's 29 degrees (F) outside, then the sunglasses you left in the car overnight will also be that cold. Cold enough to hurt your face when you put them on. Quite a bit, actually. #LFMF
If you like sleeping without any pj bottoms on, never wear a thong at night. Your dorm will have a fire drill at 2am and you'll fall out of bed trying to cover yourself before your roommate sees. And you'll freeze while standing outside. #LFMF

When it is winter, never assume that because it was above freezing yesterday, the ice is gone and you can wear four inch stiletto boots. It's not, you will fall inf front of a large crowd of people, and it will hurt. #LFMF
If the person in front of you walks around a puddle in the middle of winter, don't assume they just didn't want to get their shoes wet. It's not a puddle. And people will laugh. #LFMF

When it's the middle of winter and you're going to be outside for a few hours, don't wear jeans with holes in them. #LFMF
When having a snowball fight with your cousin and he proceeds to toss a bucket of snow at you, for the love of God, DODGE. That bucket full of snow was actually a thin layer of snow covering a bucket full of ice. Said ice will hit you in the knee, and you will not be able to walk right for hours. #LFMF
Good idea: Using a snow blower to clear the drive-way
Bad Idea: Pointing the snow blower against the wind, completely coating you in 1/4" of powder snow. #LFMF
