I asked the same question, and I knew what the poster was going for. It’s just not funny, and the GPS has nothing to do with it getting soaked.

I think it’s called humor that some folks can relate to. For example, my friend had a cell phone that, when he was leaning over, could spontaneous leap directly from his shirt pocket into a mud puddle, even if that mud puddle was more than two feet away. The GPS just helps the phone aim itself better. No kidding. I watched once as his phone hit the ground and bounced into a puddle to his left. Almost like it was tied to a string connected with said puddle.
What is this HUMOR you speak off? I only come to this site for serious serious business.

I think this one is a case of “good idea poorly excecuted.” The way it’s worded makes it sound like the GPS was to blame for the phone falling into the bucket.

The kind of “laugh” you make at this post is basically the same “laugh” you make when you realize someone just made a really weak and awful pun. (And I say that as someone who appreciates a good pun.)
