Never use a Q-tip to clean your ear and brush your teeth at the same time. You will jam the Q-tip into your eardrum in sync with your toothbrush.

Don’t put Q-tips in your ear. That’s just stupid.
no, what’s stupid is not having the very simple coordination required in not injuring yourself when you put them in your ears
otherwise, there’s no problem
why would you use a Q-tip to brush your teeth?
Q-Tips where NEVER EVER intended to be used in your ears, or any other bodily cavities.
They are made to apply makeup, lotions and creams. Another use, envisaged from the beggining, is for the arts.
Could have stopped at “Never use a Q-tip to clean your ear”.
I confess, I put them in my ear. But I’m VERY careful and never put them in as far as they’ll go, and certainly never while doing anything else.. Sometimes it’s the only thing that gets water out after a shower, and sometimes it’s the only thing that will scratch an annoying itch in my ear. My husband uses a key to scratch/clean his ears, which I think is much more dangerous.
oof. I recently ruptured an eardrum (not my fault, I don’t stick things in my ears) and it was a truly horrible experience. Soon afterwards, I observed a parent cleaning a toddler’s ear with a key… >_<
