No matter how hard you push the charger plug into the laptop, the indicator LED won't come on unless the charger is plugged into the wall.

This isnt right.all normal people plug things in before using it.
Mine doesn’t come on unless I plug in the HV side in first, wait a few seconds, then plug in the LV side into my laptop. At first I was like:
WTF THIS THING IS FAULTY
and then I was like (one day later contemplating)
Ooohhh…. it makes sense now! My laptop must be extremely sensitive to capacitive spikes
Wifes MacAir 13″ is a bit iffy when things aren’t connected in a certain order…but love it more than my company provided Dell Lat D630.
