If you don't know what an emetophiliac is, don't google for pictures. Just don't. #LFMF
Aw, now I gotta!
Haha, I googled it, but luckily not with pictures. I know which #LFMF you read.
*reads wikipedia entry on subject* Ew, ew, ew! WTF is wrong with people?
^ This. If you value your eyeballs, Wikipedia or Urbandictionary are the only places to go when wondering what any “-philia” word means.
Why would you run an image search before you ran a “define” web search?
That’s precisely what I was going to point out. Especially when it comes to philias: always ALWAYS look up the definition first, and you’ll probably never want to do an image search once you’ve done so.
Morons.
because they didn’t
they just wanted to make the front page
Let’s see…. “emet” probably means vomit, as in “emetic”, and “philiac” means to love. So this is someone who has a sexual fetish over vomit? Ugh!
Just like Adam Savage, I refuse your reality and substitute my own, hence for me emetophiliac is someone who really likes Dr Em(m)et Brown.
*reject
o_o I know what it means just by reading it….
I googled it, didn’t get any pictures in the results at all.
I googled it a while back due to another fail posted on here. No pictures, just definition;anything with a -philiac at the end is sure to be at least slightly odd.
Except Haemophiliac which rather strangely comes from the Greek for blood and love ( the philia part). I can’t understand why really, seeing as it is a blood clotting disorder.
I know I’ll regret it, but I’m searching it up out of curiosity.
Alright, I’m going to be frank and say “that’s nasty”.
OK, I won’t.
You know people only post these stupid submissions to get you to look it up. There’s no “LFMF” involved here.
Oh my gross.
Ever hear of “Urban Dictionary”?
I hate you…. that is all.
As an emetophobic, I know what the “emeto” means, and learning that there is actually a phillia… man. I’m so glad I knew what the root words mean, because otherwise I’d be curious and then I’d have nightmares for months.
Guys, learning Latin and Greek-based roots is never a bad thing.
